Lylah's screaming is becoming so shrill, I sometimes think she sounds like a baby valoceraptor. In fact , a lot of her current habits are very like that ancient animal. She walks very fast now with her little hands in the air, and even sometimes she spits up, like the dinosaur would also do for defense. We are raising a dinosaur. Also, I'm pretty sure her teeth could penetrate the toughest skin.
I chased her about 100 times down the hallway. I was trying to watch a football game. My sister in law went to GA southern and her football team is in the quarter-finals for the championship! The game was close and an edge of the seat kind of ending. But I also had to chase Lylah all around the house.
Lylah barely falls anymore when walking. She's got great balance! People are always surprised that she is walking so young!
Lylah will put just about anything from the floor into her mouth, so we have to watch her specially closely now.
This morning, she seemingly attempted to tackle our entertainment center. She his it very hard with her head. So hard in fact, that Shannon woke up and ran in the living room! I have been monitoring her for concussion symptoms, but she did not lose consciousness and is showing no signs of extended damage. She is throwing up a little bit, which could be a symptom, but she sometimes throws up anyway. Her pupils are normal, and balance is normal. Her demeanor has not changed much. So, I am not rushing to call a doctor quite yet. She has already slept a couple of times and has woken up refreshed.
I guess we will be rooting on GA southern the next couple of weekends! At least they are actually winning some games, unlike our alma mater, which went 0-12 this season. Ugh.
