Lylah the traveler

Wow!  Lylah did a great job traveling with us this Thanksgiving break!  We traveled to Atlanta last minute, and packed everything and everyone up, and left right after school on Tuesday.  Lylah slept all night during the first drive (We did leave late, and that helped).  We drove about 15 hours straight, and it really didn't seem to phase Lylah all that much at all!  Then we surprised grandma when we got there! The video is below!

Lylah loved spending time with grandma!  And grandma  loved spending time with her!  Lylah was very social the whole Thanksgiving break!

Her sleep was fairly interrupted, though.  What made matters worse was that we slept in the same room as her.  She knew we were there and was much more likely, when she awoke, to cry and complain because she wanted our attention.  Sleep was off and on all week.

We stayed until Saturday, but decided to get a hotel on the way back.  My cold had worsened and I really didn't feel like driving another 14 hours straight!  Lylah did a great job sleeping in the crib at the hotel.  That was really the first night I think I actually slept through the night.

Now we are back!  Lylah is in bed.  She is ready for daycare again tomorrow!  Shannon and I are refreshed and ready to go back to school and teach! I am still sick, but it seems to be getting a little bit better.  :-)
